1. About the Journal

The International Journal of Advance Industrial Engineering (IJAIE) is a peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research in the field of industrial engineering and its interdisciplinary applications. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to share innovative ideas, technological advancements, and practical solutions related to industrial systems and engineering management.

The journal welcomes original contributions that advance knowledge in industrial engineering, manufacturing technologies, optimization, automation, and related engineering disciplines.

3. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

The journal accepts the following categories of manuscripts:

1. Original Research Articles
Comprehensive reports of original research findings.

2. Review Articles
Critical reviews summarizing recent advances in specific areas of industrial engineering.

3. Short Communications
Brief reports presenting significant preliminary findings.

4. Technical Notes
Innovative engineering methods, tools, or industrial case studies.

5. Case Studies / Industrial Applications
Practical implementation studies in industrial settings.

4. Manuscript Preparation

Language

Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.

Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be prepared in the following order:

  1. Title Page

  2. Abstract

  3. Keywords

  4. Introduction

  5. Materials and Methods / Methodology

  6. Results and Discussion

  7. Conclusion

  8. Acknowledgments (optional)

  9. Conflict of Interest Statement

  10. References

Title Page

The title page should include:

  • Full title of the manuscript

  • Author names

  • Institutional affiliations

  • Corresponding author details (email, address)

  • ORCID ID (if available)

Abstract

  • Maximum 200–250 words

  • Should summarize objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.

Keywords

Provide 4–6 keywords representing the core topic of the manuscript.

5. Formatting Requirements

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Font size: 12 pt

  • Line spacing: 1.5

  • Page margins: 1 inch on all sides

Figures and Tables

  • Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively.

  • Provide clear captions.

  • Ensure figures are high resolution.

Units

Use SI units throughout the manuscript.

6. References

References should follow a standard scientific citation format (APA / IEEE / Vancouver depending on journal style).

7. Plagiarism Policy

The journal maintains strict ethical standards.

  • Manuscripts must be original and unpublished.

  • Similarity index should normally be below 15–20%.

  • All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.

8. Peer Review Process

The journal follows a double-blind peer review process.

  1. Initial editorial screening

  2. Assignment to expert reviewers

  3. Reviewer evaluation

  4. Editorial decision (Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject)

The review process generally takes 2–4 weeks.

9. Publication Ethics

Authors must adhere to standard publication ethics guidelines including:

  • Avoidance of plagiarism

  • Proper citation of sources

  • Disclosure of conflicts of interest

  • Ethical approval for experimental studies (if applicable)

10. Copyright and Licensing

Upon acceptance, authors may be required to sign a copyright transfer or publication agreement allowing the journal to publish the article.

Authors retain rights to use their work for academic and research purposes.

11. Submission Process

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission system (OJS) or via the editorial email provided on the journal website.
